| I'll spare you the boring details...... After completing a Liberal Arts degree in American History, I drifted into Accounting. My first class was at Golden Gate University. Over time, and covering the entire bay area, I completed the credits necessary to sit for the CPA exam. Eventually, I accumulated enough supervised hours to be awarded a CPA license.
Since 1977, I have been self employed as an Accountant and Full Charge Bookkeeper. In 1989, I bought a house in Novato with a spacious office and lots of room for my dogs. |
I learned to love Novato.......... My office is just minutes from three freeway exits for Hwy 101 and Hwy 37 to Napa and Sonoma, and the back roads to West Marin via South Novato Blvd. My office is well equipped with a computer, copier, laser printer, dedicated fax line and flatbed scanner. |

| Some of my very best friends are dogs....... While I am working in my office, both dogs like to curl up together under my desk. They are very smart, but data entry doesn't interest them. They have very good manners when greeting guests and would never dream of jumping up or indulge in any inappropriate "sniffing". They do, however, discourage pesky salesmen and missionaries from knocking on my door and interrupting my work.

Your office or mine.......... For some clients, it really makes more sense to work in their office. I generally restrict my travel to Marin, Sonoma or Napa. San Francisco and Berkeley are possible, depending upon the specific location.
