....as do education and training.
You don't always get what you paid for!
Hiring a "budget priced" Bookkeeper can be a costly mistake. An inexperienced person can spend too much time, yet turn out meaningless nonsense. Garbage in, garbage out.

Lack of organization can lead to missed deadlines, fines and interest charges. One of the warning signs is a resume with no formal training in Accounting from a standard four year college or university.

Even if you are paying for a person with credentials, it can be a disaster. An Accountant with no Bookkeeping experience does not have the techniques and work habits that can only be acquired on the job. "Banging out tax returns" and "write-up" on an assembly line do not teach General Ledger or Cash Flow management skills. Compound Mystery Journal Entries are a specialty of those who memorized debits and credits.
When you can't afford less than the best.
In 1990, I completed a post-graduate major in Accounting with a 4.0 GPA and passed all four parts of the CPA exam in one sitting. I have taken several classes in Job Cost Accounting and attended annual tax update seminars.

Since 1977, I have been a self-employed Accountant, Controller, and Full Charge Bookkeeper . I have extensive experience in Time & Billing, Accounts Receivable and Payable, Payroll, Non-Profit Fund Accounting, Construction Job Cost Accounting and Tax-deferred Exchanges.

I have many references who can attest to my skills in General Ledger Accounting and my ability to control Cash Flow, and provide timely, informative reporting. Many clients have expressed appreciation for the "quality of work, dedication, patience and loyalty."

If you have any questions, please call me. I am fast, neat, self-directed and easy to get along with. Your books will never be a worry and all reporting will be done well and on time. You can spend your energy making money with all the information you need at your fingertips.

I look forward to hearing from you.
